What Is The Apprenticeship in Creative & Digital Media?
An apprenticeship in creative and digital media is a 12-month level 3 course that combines job experience and work based learning with industry specific training. The aim of which is to prepare you for your future career in the creative and digital media industry.
How does it work?
As an apprentice you will work for a creative media company for up to four days a week while one day a week you will receive training at Dv8′s training centre. A Dv8 assessor or teacher will deliver industry specific lessons either in your workplace or in a Dv8 training centre on that day. By combining work experience with this kind of training you will develop skills, experience and knowledge that will make you a highly employable member of the media industry.
Coursework will be related to the work you do in your workplace and will often call on you to provide evidence, (via pictures or video) of the related work you have done for your employer.
The qualification addresses skills and knowledge that employers look for when hiring in the creative media industry. You will develop an understanding of and practise the skills that are needed to be successful in creative media – skills such as: creativity, the ability to deliver to deadlines, work effectively as a team member and the ability to work in a focussed and organised manner.

How to apply:
We are currently recruiting for our apprenticeship in Creative & Digital Media due to start in August 2013. If you would like to apply for a position on the apprenticeship please check the course requirements and fill out the registration form listed below.
Requirements
You must be aged between 16-24 on 1st of August 2013 for any of DV8’s apprenticeships. You will need to have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at A-C preferably including English, Maths and ICT as well as not possessing a university degree. You should be living in London or be able to easily travel around Greater London from your place of residence as many of our employers are spread across Greater London.
